Finding Words Maryland
Finding Words Maryland is an innovative and intensive five-day course specifically designed for law enforcement officers, prosecutors and child abuse professionals to conduct skillful and legally-sufficient forensic interviews of child sexual abuse victims.
The Finding Words Maryland training is supplemented with homework assignments that must be completed each night and each student will be given a written examination at the end of the course. Students who fail to attend all workshops, to complete homework, or to pass the examination will not be awarded a certificate of course completion. Successful completion of this program will be acceptable for police in-service credit for calendar year 2008 as well as social work continuing education credits (CEU).
Training begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. every day and ends between 5-5:30 p.m., depending on the day’s agenda.
Payment: The cost for this training is $200.00. Payment must be received by June 30, 2008. Registration will be cancelled if payment is not received by deadline.
